Bridget: Mom?
Brooke: Bridget. Come on in.
Bridget: You've been crying.
Brooke: A little.
Bridget: Is it because of the accident? Are you still hurt?
Brooke: No, no.
Bridget: Then why?
Brooke: It's not important.
Bridget: It's because of Thorne, isn't it? I watched the two of you.
Brooke: When?
Bridget: At the studio, when he was taking care of you.
Brooke: Well, thank God he showed up when he did.
Bridget: I know. You could have been killed by that falling light.
Brooke: Oh, that wouldn't have happened.
Bridget: Mom, he saved your life. Don't pretend he didn't.
Brooke: You sound almost grateful.
Bridget: Of course, I'm grateful. You're my one and only incredible mother.
Brooke: And you're my one and only incredible daughter.
Bridget: I love you, mom. You've given me so much. Too much, maybe. It's time I give something back to you.
Brooke: You don't have to give me anything, sweetheart.
Bridget: Yes, I do.
Brooke: The only thing I want from you is for you to be happy and secure.
Bridget: I think I owe you more than that, mom. Especially since you've sacrificed so much.
Brooke: Oh, honey, I haven't sacrificed that much.
Bridget: Mom, you gave up Thorne. You thought I was messed up, when really I was just kind of acting like a brat.
Brooke: Oh, no, you were troubled. You needed me.
Bridget: And you were there for me, just like you've always been.
Brooke: And I always will be.
Bridget: Even if it means never being happy?
Brooke: I'm happy. My children are a great source of joy to me. To watch you and Rick growing up and becoming adults, I mean, really, I can't ask for more than that.
Bridget: Yes, you could. But you don't. That's why they call it unconditional love. Nothing is more important than your children. And I so appreciate you for that. But it isn't necessary anymore, mom. I'm not a child. I'm not insecure about your love anymore. I don't need you to give up your whole life for me. I don't want you to.
Brooke: Honey, I didn't give up my life for you. Don't take that on.
Bridget: Mom, I know how much Thorne means to you. I saw it first hand at the photo studio. It made all the difference.
Brooke: What are you saying?
Bridget: I'm not gonna stand in your way any longer. You're in love with Thorne, and I want you to be with him.
Brooke: You don't have to say this.
Bridget: I know I don't. But I want to. Call it a gift from a daughter who feels very grateful to have you as a mother.
Brooke: Oh, honey -- but what about Thorne and the way you feel about him?
Bridget: I'll deal with that. I'm not saying it'll be easy, but that's my problem and I'm old enough to handle it. I mean this, ma. You deserve to be loved. And nobody loves you like
Thorne does. Except me, of course.
Brooke: Oh, gosh. Oh, thank you. Thank you so much.
Bridget: Hey, what are we doing? There is a guy out there who needs to see you, mom. Come on, get dressed. Go find him.
Kimberly: Bridget came over here. She saw you and Brooke together after her accident, the way that you took care of her. She's over there talking to her mother about it right now.
Thorne: About what?
Kimberly: About how she's not gonna stand in your way any longer if you two want to be together.
Thorne: Bridget is telling that to Brooke now?
Kimberly: Yes.
Thorne: So you're telling me that Bridget has accepted our relationship? Mine and Brooke's? I gotta call her. I gotta call her. [ Knock at door ]
Bridget: Is Thorne here?
Thorne: Is it -- is it true, Bridget?
Bridget: Yeah, Thorne. It's true.
Thorne: This is happening. This is really happening.
Bridget: Yes, Thorne. It is. I've been thinking about it a lot -- watching the two of you, what this break up's done to you. It's taken every ounce of her strength to keep her word to me -- to stay away from you. And it's made her miserable. But she did it.
Thorne: Yeah, she did it for you, Bridget -- 'cause that's how much she cares about you.
Bridget: I know. I know what kind of mother I have -- how far she'd go to make me happy. But she deserves to be happy, too.
Kimberly: And so do you, Thorne.
Bridget: Which is why -- I can't stand in your way anymore.
Thorne: Thank you, Bridget. You don't know what this means to me.
Kimberly: So, why are you just standing there?
Bridget: Yeah. Go on. What are you waiting for?
Brooke: Oh, Thorne!
Thorne: Bridget gave us her blessing.
Brooke: And she means it. She really wants us to be together. I just didn't think it was possible.
Thorne: Oh, God. I hated being separated from you. It was torture, Brooke, but Bridget needed proof. She needed time. And because you gave that to her, I can give you the life that I promised you. God, I've waited so long. I prayed
for this moment. I didn't think it was gonna come, but after what Kimberly told me today --
Brooke: What about Kimberly?
Thorne: You don't know.
Brooke: No.
Thorne: Honey, the night that Kimberly and I spent together -- she told me today that I
didn't make love to her. We didn't make love.
Brooke: Oh, my God. I don't believe this. You mean the whole time --
Thorne: Honey, the whole time -- it's only been you, Brooke -- only you
Brooke: I'm so sorry.
Thorne: No. Hon, no, no. Don't apologize.
Brooke: These last few months have been hell on you.
Thorne: Honey, they've been hell on both of us, okay? But it's over. We made it. We made it!
Brooke: We did! I missed you so much.
Thorne: You know what? Let's get the hell out of here.
Brooke: Yeah.
Thorne: Here we are -- right back where we first started -- on this deck, under those stars.
Brooke: Our first kiss.
Thorne: That kiss -- who would have ever thought that it'd lead us to where we are today?
Brooke: All the love that we discovered, the challenges that we'd have to face. It seems like a dozen lifetimes since that first kiss.
Thorne: It does. You know what?
Brooke: Hmm?
Thorne: It doesn't matter what lifetime it is, you still take my breath away.
Brooke: Oh.
Thorne: Looking at you now, you still surprise me, Brooke, and you always will.
Brooke: No more surprises. No more setbacks.
Thorne: No more lonely nights.
Brooke: No more tears. No more doubts.
Thorne: Nothing will ever come between us again -- nothing. I love you, more than anything.
Brooke: I love you, too.
